NEW DELHI — The Union Government has cleared the inter-cadre transfer of 2025-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Abhishek Sehara from Karnataka to Uttar Pradesh.
The Cadre Controlling Authority approved the allocation shift on grounds of his marriage to Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Priya Meena. The move follows standard All India Services governance provisions that permit cadre changes to maintain family unity among serving officers, following mutual consent from both state administrations.
