Navy Chief Admiral Krishna Swaminathan has emphasised the importance of tri-service integration in future conflicts, telling newly commissioned Army officers that modern warfare will require the combined strength of all three armed forces and across operational domains.
Addressing the passing-out parade at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Admiral Swaminathan highlighted the need for the Army, Navy and Air Force to operate in a coordinated manner as the nature of warfare continues to evolve.
His remarks reflect the Indian Navy’s growing emphasis on jointness and integrated military operations, where capabilities across land, sea, air, space and cyber domains can be brought together to respond to emerging security challenges.
The message comes amid India’s broader efforts to strengthen coordination among the three Services and build a more integrated defence structure.
