NEW DELHI — Strengthening India’s diplomatic posture across the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has designated career diplomat Hansraj Singh Verma as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Cuba.
Verma, a 2008-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, currently serves as the Consul General of India in São Paulo, Brazil. He is expected to assume charge of the Indian Mission in Havana shortly.
