KANPUR — Mahendra Singh Tanwar, a 2015-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has officially taken charge as the 59th District Magistrate of Kanpur Nagar.
He formally assumed office after arriving at the district treasury, stepping into a pivotal leadership role in one of Uttar Pradesh’s premier industrial and commercial hubs.
