NEW DELHI — In an official bureaucratic realignment, Jafar Malik, a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Kerala cadre, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent state.
Malik was serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs under central deputation. The central government approved his early repatriation following a formal request submitted on personal grounds.
