NEW DELHI — The Union Government has approved a two-year extension of the central deputation tenure for senior bureaucrat Shri Vinod Seshan (IAS), enabling him to continue as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
An officer of the 2008 batch belonging to the Assam-Meghalaya (AM) cadre, Seshan will remain in his key policy role to steer critical energy infrastructure and policy initiatives under the central ministry.
