The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of Govind Jaiswal’s central deputation tenure as Joint Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, for a further period of two years beyond October 11, 2025.
Mr. Jaiswal is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, known for his commitment to education policy and governance. His continued presence is expected to further strengthen the implementation of national education reforms and development initiatives.
