Centum Electronics Limited has appointed Mr. Apurva Chandra, a distinguished former IAS officer (1988 batch), as an Additional Director in the capacity of Non-Executive Independent Director. The appointment, effective from December 19, 2025, is for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Chandra, who retired as the Union Health Secretary in September 2024, brings over 36 years of high-level administrative experience across the Ministries of Defence, Information & Broadcasting, and Labour & Employment. His expertise in defence acquisition and industrial policy is expected to provide strategic guidance to Centum’s growing aerospace and defense portfolios.
