NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a two-year extension of the central deputation tenure for senior officer Saurabh Singh as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance.
Singh, a 2013-batch Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer, has been serving in the role since October 20, 2022. With this extension, his tenure in the department—originally set to conclude in October 2026—will now run through October 20, 2028.
