NEW DELHI — The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the transfer of two senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territory) cadre—Ashwani Kumar (1992 batch) and Ashish Chandra Verma (1994 batch)—from Jammu & Kashmir to Delhi.
The senior administrators return to the National Capital Territory following key assignments in Jammu & Kashmir. The transfers come as part of routine administrative realignments within the AGMUT cadre, positioning both senior officers for upcoming executive and secretarial assignments in the Delhi Government.
