MUMBAI — In a strategic leadership expansion tracking digital media and syndication sectors, media entertainment major Shemaroo Entertainment has officially appointed Mr. Avdhesh Kumar as its new International Content Lead.
Kumar moves into the role with an extensive background in digital revenue monetization and media sales architectures across mainstream Indian networks.
Strategic Mandate and Cross-Border Syndication
The new executive appointment is aimed at scaling the entertainment house’s global digital footprint:

Global Distribution Portfolio: In his new capacity, Kumar will directly spearhead international content syndication frameworks, managing and distribution of Shemaroo’s expansive IP catalog across markets outside India.

Monetization & CTV Expertise: Prior to joining Shemaroo, Kumar served as the National Sales Head – CTV (Connected TV) and YouTube, managing digital revenue monetization strategies.

Media Pedigree: Kumar’s professional trajectory includes a tenure as Associate Director for the short-form news platform Inshorts, preceded by an eight-year stint at Star TV Network, where he anchored multiple high-performing sales leadership portfolios.
