NEW DELHI — The Coca-Cola Company has promoted Butool Rizvi to the position of Senior Marketing Director for the Central Asia and Caucasus Region. Rizvi, who has been with the global beverage giant since August 2021, announced the leadership transition via her social media channels.
In her new executive role, she will oversee brand strategies, portfolio expansion, and consumer engagement across a cluster of highly dynamic, fast-growing international markets.
The Transition of Leadership
Rizvi’s elevation marks a major progression in her career within Coca-Cola’s regional divisions:
-
The New Mandate: Stepping into the Central Asia and Caucasus desk, she will take charge of marketing operations in an economically expanding and culturally diverse territory, focusing on scaling market share and localized product positioning.
-
The Previous Portfolio: She previously served as the Regional Brand Director for Coca-Cola TM (Trademark) across the Eurasia and Middle East geographies, where she managed core brand equities.
Strategic Market Focus
Rizvi’s appointment comes at a time when major consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies are intensifying their focus on emerging markets within Central Asia. Expressing her outlook on the transition, Rizvi highlighted the region as “brimming with promise, opportunity, and diversity,” signaling a strategic push by Coca-Cola to tap into accelerating consumer demand across these emerging frontiers.
