NEW DELHI: In a high-profile expansion of its global executive leadership team, consumer goods giant Colgate-Palmolive has promoted Samir Singh to the position of President, Enterprise Oral Care. The executive appointment is scheduled to take official effect on June 1, 2026.
In his new global capacity, Singh will formally join Colgate-Palmolive’s core corporate Leadership Team and will be relocating to the company’s headquarters in New York with his family later this year. Announcing the transition on LinkedIn, Singh expressed excitement about steering the multinational’s flagship oral care business and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive future global growth.
Executive Trajectory and Proven Track Record
Singh’s elevation comes on the heels of a successful regional deployment within Colgate-Palmolive’s international network:

Colgate-Palmolive Tenure: Singh has operated as the company’s Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific, a role he assumed upon joining the consumer goods major in December 2024. He characterized his initial 18-month tenure in the region as a period marked by substantial business progress and deep personal learning.

Unilever Leadership Foundations: Before joining Colgate-Palmolive, Singh built an extensive 16-year career at Unilever, holding a succession of high-tier leadership positions across multiple markets and product categories. His final role at the company was Global Chief Marketing Officer for Unilever’s multi-billion dollar Personal Care business.

Regional Corporate Governance: During his Unilever tenure, he additionally served as the Chair of Unilever Asia Pte Ltd between 2021 and 2023. He was also an influential member of the Hindustan Unilever (HUL) Management Committee, directly heading the major Beauty & Personal Care business segment in India.

Early Career and Brand Management: Singh initially commenced his corporate career with Hindustan Unilever as a management trainee. Over the years, he scaled the ranks through a diverse portfolio of roles encompassing sales, foods, beauty, and skincare.

With over 25 years of deep FMCG sector experience, Singh brings a wealth of international expertise to New York, having successfully steered country and global operations across India, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, and China. Throughout his career, he has managed and scaled some of the world’s most ubiquitous consumer brands, including Dove, Lifebuoy, Axe, Lux, and Rexona.
In his elevated role as President of Enterprise Oral Care, Singh will assume direct responsibility for the strategic direction, product pipeline innovation, and market share expansion of Colgate-Palmolive’s primary business driver. He will be tasked with navigating evolving consumer preferences toward premium and therapeutic oral hygiene, leveraging digital-first commerce, and optimizing global supply chains to maintain the brand’s dominant position across both emerging and mature markets.
