HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Company has announced the appointment of Heather Hoytink as its new President – US, effective July 8, 2026.
Hoytink, a seasoned commercial executive with over two decades of sales and operational leadership, transitions to the chocolate and snacking titan from PepsiCo. She most recently served as PepsiCo’s Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for U.S. Away From Home Beverages, where she spearheaded commercialization agendas and drove significant volume and margin growth across large national customer channels.
Full Portfolio Accountability
In her new capacity, Hoytink will hold end-to-end accountability for Hershey’s massive U.S. commercial business. Her leadership will span the company’s entire multi-billion dollar domestic portfolio, which encompasses:

Confectionery: Iconic brands like Hershey’s, Reese’s, and Kisses.

Salty Snacks: Expanding lines such as Dot’s Homestyle Pretzels and SkinnyPop.

Protein: Emerging health-and-wellness snacking products.
Hershey’s President and CEO, Kirk Tanner, lauded Hoytink’s operational background, stating:

The “ONE Hershey” Mandate
A core component of Hoytink’s leadership will be advancing the unified “ONE Hershey” commercial model. This strategy aims to deliver streamlined, greater value to retail partners while simultaneously pushing market expansion across away-from-home, omnichannel, and digital marketplaces.
Expressing excitement about her upcoming role, Hoytink noted that Hershey’s foundational strengths offer an incredible launchpad to “unlock new opportunities” and continue building high-performing, winning teams.
Hoytink is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, with executive credentials from both the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and Harvard Business School.
