NEW DELHI — The central government has sanctioned the appointment of senior law enforcement official Shri Umesh Kumar as Additional Director General (ADG) within the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) on central deputation.
His appointment to the leadership team at the country’s primary police research and modernization agency is approved through February 29, 2028, the date of his superannuation.
