LONDON — Moving to fortify its data collaboration capabilities across international markets, ad tech giant InfoSum and parent agency network WPP have promoted Max Toulliou to Senior Vice President (SVP), Head of InfoSum – EMEA.
Toulliou, a seasoned digital marketing leader with over a decade of cross-functional experience spanning clients, agencies, and tech platforms, officially confirmed his expanded mandate on LinkedIn. In his new role, he is tasked with steering the commercial organization of the first-party data collaboration platform across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
Streamlining Cross-Border Commercial Operations
As the regional head, Toulliou will carry full operational and strategic oversight over InfoSum’s core commercial engines. His consolidated leadership mandate covers several key functional departments:
-
Sales & Commercial Expansion: Driving regional ad tech adoption and platform revenue velocity.
-
Customer Success & Support: Optimizing client retention and ensuring enterprise-level platform utility.
-
Solutions Engineering: Architecting technical data clean room integrations for brands and publishers.
Expressing his outlook on the strategic transition, Toulliou highlighted the massive trajectory ahead for the partnership within WPP’s broader data ecosystem.
“Excited to announce that I’m taking on a new chapter as SVP, EMEA Head of InfoSum, leading WPP’s InfoSum commercial organization across the region… Our WPP era is just getting started; it’s been a rollercoaster ride so far, and we are fully focused on keeping this momentum going.” — Max Toulliou, SVP, Head of InfoSum – EMEA
Contextual Driving Force: Data Clean Rooms
Toulliou’s appointment arrives at a critical juncture for the regional media buying space. With traditional third-party tracking mechanisms rapidly phasing out due to privacy shifts, WPP’s deployment of InfoSum’s decentralized data clean room technology allows advertisers and media owners to securely collaborate and match first-party audience datasets without exposing underlying consumer data.
Toulliou credited executive leaders Nick Henthorn, Lauren Wetzel, and GroupM/WPP executive Brian Lesser for their continued trust as he takes the reins to accelerate this regional momentum.
