IAS Abhi Jain (2025 Batch) Transferred from Sikkim to Odisha Cadre on Marriage Grounds

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has approved the inter-cadre transfer of Shri Abhi Jain, a 2025-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, from the Sikkim cadre to the Odisha cadre. The transfer was granted on the grounds of his marriage to Ms. Krupa A. Jain, an officer of the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) belonging to the Odisha cadre. This move allows the couple to serve within the same state administration, following the standard government policy that facilitates the “unification of families” for All India Service (AIS) officers.
