NEW DELHI — Senior bureaucrat Anurag Jain is set to formally take charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog on Monday, August 17.
Jain, a 1989-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, transitions to the premier policy think tank following his tenure as the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh.
His appointment brings extensive administrative experience to NITI Aayog at a critical juncture, as the institution continues to drive key national policy initiatives, state-level development frameworks, and long-term economic strategy across sectors.
