NEW DELHI — Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer Swapnil Chaurasia has been deputed to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), stepping into the key role of Deputy Chief Project Manager (Civil) in Vadodara.
Chaurasia previously served as the Senior Divisional Engineer (Sr. DEN) with South Western Railway (SWR). His deputation to NHSRCL—the executing agency behind India’s flagship high-speed rail initiatives—takes effect from October 23, 2025, bringing significant civil engineering expertise to the ongoing bullet train corridor infrastructure development.
