Subhasish Nag, a seasoned officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), has been promoted to officiate in the Senior Administrative (SA) Grade. Currently serving within the Western Railway (WR) zone, Nag will continue his tenure there, now operating within the higher cadre. This appointment, effective as of late January 2026, places him in a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing large-scale electrical infrastructure, traction power, and locomotive maintenance within one of India’s busiest railway networks.
