In a significant move to strengthen the state’s administrative backbone, the Government of India, in consultation with the Government of Telangana, has promoted five officers from the State Civil Service (SCS) to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). These appointments were made against the Select Lists (SL) of 2023 and 2024. All five officers have been officially allocated to the Telangana Cadre, allowing them to continue their service to the state in senior bureaucratic capacities. This induction is expected to fill critical vacancies at the district and secretariat levels.
