In a strategic move to bolster the technical team for the upcoming fiscal cycle, Nokil Kumar, a Senior Accounts Officer currently serving at the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) in Lakshadweep, has been temporarily reassigned. He will join the Budget Division of the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Ministry of Finance in New Delhi. This attachment, effective immediately and lasting until March 31, 2026, is dedicated to the intensive preparation of the Union Budget 2026-27, leveraging his expertise in government accounting and digital payment systems.
