Former Ambassador Amrit Lugun Empanelled as Independent External Monitor (IEM)

Amrit Lugun, a distinguished 1989-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, has been empanelled for appointment as an Independent External Monitor (IEM). Lugun recently retired from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) after a high-profile tenure as the Ambassador (Grade I) of India to the Hellenic Republic (Greece). His transition from top-tier diplomacy to corporate and public sector oversight brings a global perspective to governance and transparency.
