Suvasish Das, a senior 2005-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been officially empanelled by the Government of India for appointment to Joint Secretary or equivalent positions at the Centre. This empanelment, cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), marks a significant milestone in his career, qualifying him for key leadership roles within various Union Ministries.
