NEW DELHI (Feb 15, 2026) — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a one-year extension of the inter-cadre deputation for Athar Aamir-ul-Shafi Khan, a 2016-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam, Khan will now remain in the AGMUT cadre (J&K) until February 15, 2027.
