NEW DELHI — The central government has approved a one-year extension for Abhishek Pathak, currently serving as Inspector General (IG) in the Border Security Force (BSF). The decision, ratified by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), ensures continuity in the top leadership of India’s primary border-guarding organization.
