LUCKNOW – In a significant administrative move, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has issued transfer and posting orders for five senior IAS officers. The reshuffle, aimed at streamlining key departments, includes new appointments for the State Public Service Commission and the Swachh Bharat Mission.
According to the official notification, several officers who were previously awaiting postings have been given crucial responsibilities, while others have been moved to optimize departmental efficiency.

Strategic Shifts
The most notable change involves the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), where Shri Girijesh Kumar Tyagi will take over the role of Secretary from Shri Ashok Kumar. In a direct swap of roles, Smt. Anita Verma Singh moves into the Higher Education department, taking over the responsibilities previously held by Shri Tyagi.
Additionally, the appointment of Smt. Gunjan Dwivedi as the Mission Director for Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) is expected to provide fresh impetus to the state’s rural sanitation and cleanliness initiatives.
