CHANDIGARH – In a fresh administrative overhaul, the Governor of Haryana has ordered the immediate transfer and posting of two senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The order, issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on April 16, 2026, aims to streamline key administrative roles in the Finance Department and district governance.
Major Reassignments
The reshuffle involves high-ranking officers from the 2012 and 2018 batches:

Shri Manoj Kumar-I (IAS: 2012): Currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Mahendragarh at Narnaul, he has been moved to the state capital as Special Secretary to the Government, Haryana, Finance Department. He will be filling a previously vacant post.

Smt. Anupama Anjali (IAS: 2018): Previously the Administrator of HSVP, Faridabad, and Additional Director of Urban Estate, Faridabad, she has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Mahendragarh at Narnaul, succeeding Shri Manoj Kumar-I.
Immediate Effect and Implementation
The Personnel Department has directed both officers to take charge of their new responsibilities with immediate effect. The notification has been circulated to all major state departments, including the Secretary to the Governor, the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), and the Chief Electoral Officer.
This move is seen as a strategic placement of experienced officers into critical financial and district-level roles to ensure efficient governance across the state. Copies of the order have also been dispatched to the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi and various divisional commissioners to ensure a smooth transition.
