NEW DELHI – In a move that blends academic brilliance with administrative expertise, Dr. K S Somashekhar has been officially appointed as Secretary in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
Dr. Somashekhar is a highly distinguished scholar holding a Ph.D. in Literature. He is widely recognized for his exceptional linguistic capabilities, possessing proficiency in five languages: Kannada, Hindi, English, Telugu, and Tamil. This linguistic diversity is expected to be a significant asset in the multicultural and polyglot environment of the Upper House of Parliament.
