NEW DELHI — Within hours of upgrading its top-tier leadership, the Central Government has further expanded the administrative strength of the National Testing Agency (NTA) by appointing two senior civil servants as Joint Directors.
The official Office Memorandum (No. 4/15/2026-EO (MM-I)), issued on Saturday by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), confirmed that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) cleared the proposal following recommendations from the Civil Services Board. The mid-level bureaucratic appointments are aimed at managing the extensive operational logistics of the national examination body.
