RAIPUR: The Chhattisgarh government has officially appointed Arun Dev Gautam as the state’s regular Director General of Police (DGP). Gautam, a senior 1992-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, had previously been leading the state’s police force in an acting capacity.
