NEW DELHI: In a key administrative development within federal investigative agencies, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the premature repatriation of senior IPS officer Ms. Vidya Jayant Kulkarni.
According to an official communication from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training) dated May 25, 2026, Ms. Kulkarni, who was serving as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), will return to her parent cadre of Tamil Nadu.
