LUCKNOW: Resolving a long-standing interim arrangement at the apex of the state’s law enforcement hierarchy, the Uttar Pradesh government has officially appointed senior 1991-batch IPS officer Rajeev Krishna as the permanent Director General of Police (DGP). The state administration issued the formal notification following Krishna’s transition from acting chief to full-time commander of the state police force.
