NEW DELHI: In a coordinated bureaucratic move at the Centre, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved the central deputation of two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers from the Jharkhand cadre. The separate executive mandates place the veteran officers into crucial leadership roles within India’s Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
Both official communications (No. I-21017/01/2026-IPS.III) were issued on June 1, 2026, from Kartavya Bhavan-3, Janpath, New Delhi, directed to the Chief Secretary of the Government of Jharkhand in Ranchi.
