NEW DELHI — In a significant bureaucratic elevation within the federal probe agency, senior IPS officer Mr. Atul Kumar Thakur has been appointed as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved his promotion to the crucial post for an overall central deputation tenure of seven years, extending up to November 24, 2028.
