In a key central deputation move, Viswanadh R, a 2016-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Kerala cadre, has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The officer’s tenure will be on a deputation basis, where he will join the premier counter-terrorism investigation agency to oversee critical counter-terrorism and national security mandates.
