In a key higher-level bureaucratic movement within the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, senior civil servant Yogesh Kumar Baweja has been promoted to the Apex/Higher Grade as Principal Director General (Principal DG).
A 1991-batch officer of the Indian Information Service (IIS), Baweja previously served in the High Administrative Grade (HAG) tier. Following his elevation to the Principal DG grade, he will continue to hold charge as the Press Registrar General of India (PRGI) until further orders.
