Vigilance Commissioner A S Rajeev has been appointed to act as the Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC), taking charge on August 3, 2026.
The transition follows the completion of the tenure of former CVC P K Srivastava on August 3. A former Managing Director and CEO of the Bank of Maharashtra, A S Rajeev assumes top leadership at the apex anti-corruption watchdog to oversee vigilance administration and institutional integrity across central government departments, public sector undertakings, and financial institutions.
