BHOPAL — In a major administrative elevation, senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers Raja Babu Singh and D P Gupta are set to be promoted to the Director General (DG) rank in Madhya Pradesh, effective September 1.
Both officers belong to the 1994 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. Their upcoming promotion brings seasoned leadership to the top tiers of the state’s police hierarchy as they prepare to take on primary command roles in the cadre.
