NEW DELHI — The Home Department of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has issued official orders for the immediate transfer and posting of three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, following recommendations by the Police Establishment Board and approval from the Lieutenant Governor.
The order restructures key leadership roles across operations, economic offenses, and executive administration within the capital’s law enforcement setup.

Shivendra Kant Tewari (IPS: 2009): Transferred from OSD to the Lieutenant Governor and appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing (Addl. CP/EOW).

Varsha Sharma (IPS: 2010): Transferred from Additional Commissioner of Police, Economic Offences Wing (Addl. CP/EOW) and appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Lieutenant Governor.
