NEW DELHI — The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has issued official orders promoting 10 Indian Information Service (IIS) officers from the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) to the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG). The promoted officers have been elevated to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG) and assigned key operational posts across media units, regional offices, and central headquarters.
The promotions cover officers from the 2009 and 2010 civil services batches, strengthening the administrative and communication cadre across critical media bodies, including the Press Information Bureau (PIB), the Electronic Media Monitoring Centre (EMMC), and the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC).
