New Delhi — Retired 1992-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Subhash Chandra Lal Das has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC).
Alongside his appointment, Ajay Kumar Jain and Praveen Gupta have been named as members of the commission. The chairperson position had remained vacant since July 2025. Prior to this assignment, reports had previously circulated indicating Das was a leading contender to head the Banks Board Bureau.
