AIZAWL — In a fresh administrative appointment, R. Zarzosanga has been named the new Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Mizoram.
A senior officer from the AGMUT cadre (2007 batch), Zarzosanga takes over the top electoral post from Garima Gupta.
The transition in the state’s election machinery follows the recent publication of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 final electoral rolls, which were officially released on September 7 ahead of the leadership change.
