CHENNAI — The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday issued executive orders entrusting Asra Garg, Inspector General of Police (Intelligence), with the full additional charge of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Intelligence.
The high-level posting places the 2004-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer at the helm of the state’s primary security and intelligence gathering apparatus.
