NEW DELHI — In a top-level bureaucratic shuffle at the Centre, senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Narendra Bhooshan has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
Bhooshan, a 1992-batch officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, was previously serving as Secretary, Department of Land Resources under the Ministry of Rural Development. He succeeds Tanmay Kumar, who superannuated on September 30, 2026.
