SINGAPORE — Tech giant Meta has named Dhruv Vohra as Managing Director, Global Business Group, Southeast Asia, expanding his executive remit after more than seven years with the company.
In his new capacity, Vohra will oversee Meta’s commercial strategy, monetization, and strategic partnerships across six key regional markets: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. He will report directly to Benjamin Joe, Vice President, Asia Pacific at Meta.
Executive Mandate & Commercial Focus
Vohra will lead commercial growth initiatives across Meta’s product suite—including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger—with a clear focus on next-generation digital transformation:

AI & Conversational Commerce: Driving business adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools—such as Meta Business Agent—and conversational messaging frameworks to capture evolving consumer discovery and purchasing behaviors.

Agency & Advertiser Partnerships: Collaborating with regional agencies, brands, and enterprise clients to optimize digital ad spend and cross-platform campaign returns.

E-Commerce Scaling: Expanding digital commerce workflows where customer journeys seamlessly transition from social discovery to direct-in-chat transactions.

Meta (2019–Present): Most recently served as Managing Director, Small and Medium Business (SMB) Group, Asia Pacific (since April 2023). Previously served as Managing Director, Meta Business Group, Mid-Market, Southeast Asia (2021–2023), after joining in 2019 as Director and Head of Sales for E-Commerce and Digital-Native Businesses.
