CHANDIGARH — The Punjab Government has officially appointed officiating Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav as the state’s regular DGP.
Yadav, a 1992-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Punjab cadre, was previously serving in an officiating capacity before his permanent confirmation to the top police post.
