NEW DELHI — The Central Government has named Himachal Pradesh cadre administrative officer Hemraj Bairwa (IAS: 2013) as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Power, marking a key administrative transition to Union deputation.
The appointment has been approved under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years starting from his date of charge assumption. Bairwa moves to the Union Cabinet Secretariat’s power portfolio after serving in crucial district administration roles in Himachal Pradesh, including his recent assignment as Deputy Commissioner of Kangra.
