The Himachal Pradesh government has carried out a reshuffle in the police department, assigning fresh responsibilities to five IPS officers.
As per the new orders:

Ms. Rani Bindu has been appointed as Inspector General of Police (IGP) Crime, Shimla.

Dr. D. K. Chaudary will serve as Principal, Police Training College, Daroh, Kangra.

Ms. Soumya Sambasivan takes charge as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Northern Range, Dharamshala.

Rahul Nath will assume duties as DIGP, Central Range, Mandi.

Arvind Chaudhary has been posted as Superintendent of Police (SP) Leave Reserve, Police Headquarters (PHQ), Shimla.
This reshuffle is aimed at strengthening law enforcement across key regions of Himachal Pradesh, ensuring effective supervision, training, and crime management in the state.
