Three IAS officers of the 1996 batch in the Bihar cadre—namely Anand Kishore, K Senthil Kumar, and H R Srinivas—have been promoted to the Apex Pay Scale (Level 17 in the Pay Matrix) and consequently designated as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), with the promotions taking effect from January 1, 2026.
